It’s Zippy Tip Tuesday!
Long about midsummer to early fall, I find myself with an abundance of fruit flies in the kitchen. The season’s bountiful harvest seems to set the scene for those pesky little critters, which can become so annoying.
A quick and easy way to rid yourself of the rascals is to place apple cider vinegar into a small dish (Make sure that you use apple cider vinegar. I have tried others, and they didn’t work at all.).
Add a few drops of dishwashing liquid.
Secure plastic wrap around the top with a rubber band.
Poke a few holes in the plastic wrap and set the dish in your kitchen.
Fruit flies will go in, but they won’t come back out!
